Famous quotes containing the words preparing for, preparing and/or competition:

In preparing for battle I have always found that plans are useless, but planning is indispensable.
    Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890–1969)

Machismo makes no provision for preparing lunch, doing the laundry, or minding the baby.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)

Madeleine [Blair], U.S. prostitute and “madam.” Madeleine, ch. 5 (1919)
