Modern-day Komox are organized in four band governments:
- K'ómoks First Nation (Vancouver Island)
- Sliammon First Nation (Powell River/Malaspina Peninsula)
- Klahoose First Nation (Discovery Islands)
- Homalhco First Nation (Toba Inlet)
