Hägglunds have demonstrated an infrared stealth version with thermoelectric plates, capable of posing as many different objects such as ordinary cars, stones, trees etc. to an enemy IR-viewfinder. It takes 1500 plates to cover a CV90, at a cost of $100 per plate.
