Comair - Headquarters

Headquarters

Comair was headquartered in the Comair General Office Building, on the grounds of Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport in unincorporated Boone County, Kentucky, United States, west of Erlanger, and south of Cincinnati, Ohio. As the airline ends operations, up to 30 employees will remain working at the headquarters.

77 Comair Boulevard formerly served as the corporate headquarters of Comair. The building, with 187,000 square feet (17,400 m2) of space, is on South Airfield Road. In 2010, after the airline began downsizing, it considered leaving the building and moving to another location near the airport. A spokesperson did not disclose how much office space the airline occupied; she said it was planning to reduce its space by 20 to 25 percent. In early 2011, Comair vacated the building.

Other crew hubs are located in Detroit, MI.

With its closure in 2012, the airline is donating one of its flight simulators to a local school.

Famous quotes containing the word headquarters:

What does headquarters think these guys came over here for, a sewing circle? They go up playing for keeps. Cops and robbers with rocks in the snowballs. Brass knuckles and lead pipes and a roughneck conviction they can lick any man in the world.
    Dalton Trumbo (1905–1976)

If the national security is involved, anything goes. There are no rules. There are people so lacking in roots about what is proper and what is improper that they don’t know there’s anything wrong in breaking into the headquarters of the opposition party.
    Helen Gahagan Douglas (1900–1980)

Anything goes in Wichita. Leave your revolvers at police headquarters and get a check.
