Craft Names

In the first Colony Wars, almost all the League fighter craft were named after creatures of myth and legend, such as Vampire and Chimera. The Navy's fighters were named after stormy weather conditions, such as Blizzard and Thunderchild.

In Vengeance, the Navy's fighters were named after black magic and monsters, such as Hex and Wraith. The League's fighters were named after weaponry, like Sword and Lance.

Famous quotes containing the words craft and/or names:

But for the lovers, their arms
Round the griefs of the ages,
Who pay no praise or wages
Nor heed my craft or art.
    Dylan Thomas (1914–1953)

And even my sense of identity was wrapped in a namelessness often hard to penetrate, as we have just seen I think. And so on for all the other things which made merry with my senses. Yes, even then, when already all was fading, waves and particles, there could be no things but nameless things, no names but thingless names. I say that now, but after all what do I know now about then, now when the icy words hail down upon me, the icy meanings, and the world dies too, foully named.
    Samuel Beckett (1906–1989)
