"Cold Station 12" is the name of the 81st episode from the television series Star Trek: Enterprise. It is the fifth episode from the fourth season of the series, initially airing on November 5, 2004. The episode is the middle of a three-episode arc involving the "Augments," preceded by "Borderland" and followed by "The Augments."
"Cold Station 12" (the working title was CS 12) features the returning Brent Spiner (Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation) as the criminal mastermind Dr. Arik Soong, an ancestor of the scientist who created Data.
The episode's title is the name of the medical facility run by Starfleet Medical and the Denobulans, where much of this episode's plot unfolds. The episode features the first on-screen appearance of Dr. Jeremy Lucas, a close friend of Dr. Phlox who had been mentioned in numerous previous episodes.
