Clutag Press

Clutag Press

The Clutag Press was established in 2000 as a venture by Andrew McNeillie to issue Clutag Poetry Leaflets, by established and emerging poets. In 2004, it received backing from The Christopher Tower Fund (in association with Christ Church College, Oxford University). As a result, it began issuing more substantial poetry pamphlets, full length books, and CD sound recordings.

Its literary archive is now collected exclusively by the Bodleian Library, Oxford University, in digital and paper formats.

Famous quotes containing the word press:

In bourgeois society, the French and the industrial revolution transformed the authorization of political space. The political revolution put an end to the formalized hierarchy of the ancien regimé.... Concurrently, the industrial revolution subverted the social hierarchy upon which the old political space was based. It transformed the experience of society from one of vertical hierarchy to one of horizontal class stratification.
Donald M. Lowe, U.S. historian, educator. History of Bourgeois Perception, ch. 4, University of Chicago Press (1982)
