Beliefs
Clearwater Christian College is a denominationally unaffiliated Christian college, however most of their faculty, staff, and students come from various Baptist and independent Bible church backgrounds. The college's doctrinal statement is one that focuses on the historic fundamentals of Protestant Christianity.
Students are required to attend Sunday services, daily chapel services, and spend time doing a Christian service. Small group, student-led devotional time occurs nightly for prayer and peer edification, for all resident students.

Famous quotes containing the word beliefs:
“Children demand that their heroes should be fleckless, and easily believe them so: perhaps a first discovery to the contrary is less revolutionary shock to a passionate child than the threatened downfall of habitual beliefs which makes the world seem to totter for us in maturer life.”
—George Eliot [Mary Ann (or Marian)
“A man must not swallow more beliefs than he can digest.”
—Havelock Ellis (18591939)
“Airplanes are invariably scheduled to depart at such times as 7:54, 9:21 or 11:37. This extreme specificity has the effect on the novice of instilling in him the twin beliefs that he will be arriving at 10:08, 1:43 or 4:22, and that he should get to the airport on time. These beliefs are not only erroneous but actually unhealthy.”
—Fran Lebowitz (b. 1950)
