Steps After Clear

After attaining the state of Clear, a person may go on to study the Operating Thetan levels, in which Scientology materials assert the ability to operate outside the body via "exteriorization" becomes commonplace. Beyond that comes "Cleared Theta Clear," which Hubbard describes this way:

"A thetan who is completely rehabilitated and can do everything a thetan should do, such as move and control others from a distance, or create his own universe; a person who is able to create his own universe or, living in the MEST universe is able to create illusions perceivable by others at will, to handle MEST universe objects without mechanical means and to have and feel no need of bodies or even the MEST universe to keep himself and his friends interested in existence".

Famous quotes containing the words steps and/or clear:

Is it the lumberman, then, who is the friend and lover of the pine, stands nearest to it, and understands its nature best? Is it the tanner who has barked it, or he who has boxed it for turpentine, whom posterity will fable to have been changed into a pine at last? No! no! it is the poet.... All the pines shudder and heave a sigh when that man steps on the forest floor.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

He, who, in view of its inconsistencies, says of human nature the same that, in view of its contrasts, is said of the divine nature, that it is past finding out, thereby evinces a better appreciation of it than he who, by always representing it in a clear light, leaves it to be inferred that he clearly knows all about it.
    Herman Melville (1819–1891)
