Claude Monteux

Claude Monteux (born 15 October 1920) is an American flutist and conductor. He has played under the direction of many prominent conductors and for orchestra recordings made worldwide. He presently teaches summer courses at the Pierre Monteux School for conductors in Maine and is affiliated with the SDSU School of Music and Dance.
