Famous quotes containing the words discovering, music and/or talent:

Then David and the people who were with him raised their voices and wept, until they had no more strength to weep.
    Bible: Hebrew, 1 Samuel 30:4.

Upon discovering their families had been taken prisoner.

It is hard to describe the thrill of creative joy which the artist feels when the conviction seizes her that at last she has caught the very soul of the character she wishes to portray, in the music and action which reveal it.
    Maria Jeritza (1887–1982)

“Letting go” ...implies generosity, a talent a good mother needs in abundance. Separation is not loss, it is not cutting yourself off from someone you love. It is giving freedom to the other person to be herself before she becomes resentful, stunted, and suffocated by being tied too close. Separation is not the end of love. It creates love.
    Nancy Friday (20th century)
