Clan Chief
The current Chief of Clan Bannerman is Sir David Gordon Bannerman of Elsick, 15th Baronet of Elsick, Chief of the Name and Arms of Bannerman, OBE. Sir David was educated at Gordounstoun School and New College Oxford. He resides in Richmond with his wife Lady Mary Prudence Bannerman (née Ardagh Walter) and has four children: Claire (b.1961), Margot (b.1963), Arabella (b.1965) and Clodagh (b.1975) and five grandchildren: Constance (b.1994), Alexander (b.1996), Hector (b.1998), Ruby (b.1998) and Milo (b.2001).
