NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Victory Motorsports was formed in 2006 when two businessmen, Bryan and Tony Mullet, purchased the Sprint Cup equipment of Faith Motorsports from Morgan Shepherd. After not making the field for each of the early attempts, Shepherd and the team went their separate ways and the team changed its name to CJM Racing. Kertus Davis and David Gilliland, and Brent Sherman took over the newly-renumbered Dutch Quality Stone #72 car. Mike Skinner drove the car for two races of the season.

Famous quotes containing the words cup and/or series:
“I write mainly for the kindly race of women. I am their sister, and in no way exempt from their sorrowful lot. I have drank [sic] the cup of their limitations to the dregs, and if my experience can help any sad or doubtful woman to outleap her own shadow, and to stand bravely out in the sunshine to meet her destiny, whatever it may be, I shall have done well; I have not written this book in vain.”
—Amelia E. Barr (18311919)
“Rosalynn said, Jimmy, if we could only get Prime Minister Begin and President Sadat up here on this mountain for a few days, I believe they might consider how they could prevent another war between their countries. That gave me the idea, and a few weeks later, I invited both men to join me for a series of private talks. In September 1978, they both came to Camp David.”
—Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)
