Cirrus Aircraft

The Cirrus Aircraft Corporation is an aircraft manufacturer that was founded in 1984 by Alan and Dale Klapmeier to produce the VK-30 kit aircraft. The company is owned by the Government of the People's Republic of China through Aviation Industry Corporation of China and its subsidiarity CAIGA.

The company markets several versions of its two certificated designs, the SR20 and the SR22. The company is also planning to market the light-sport aircraft category Cirrus SR Sport, though this project is currently on hold. The Cirrus Vision SF50 single-engine jet is currently under development.
