Fr Rob Wickham was inducted as Rector of Hackney in March 2007.
Fr Sebastian Ejiaku is an assistant priest. Fr Chris Ferris is Associate Rector and Chaplain to the Urswick School. Emily Ovenden is the Parish Administrator.
Babs Scott Wollaston is the Reader Emeritus.
Andrew Coombs is our Artist in Residence Simon Catt and Richard Aubrey lead our music.
St John-at-Hackney is now overseeing the St John-at-Hackney project, launched in June 2008. This is a five year plan to make the building fit for purpose, along with several community ministry projects.
In November 2011, it played host to the Little Noise Sessions in aid of Mencap. These concerts featured artists such as Elbow, Marina and the Diamonds, Goldfrapp, Example, Coldplay and Sinéad O'Connor, and they were hosted by Jo Whiley.
