Christian Woman

"Christian Woman" is a single by heavy metal band Type O Negative written by Peter Steele from their 1993 album Bloody Kisses. Two promotional videos were produced following the release of the album. A censored version (directed by Jon Reiss) which included only the first part of the song, known on its own as "Body of Christ (Corpus Christi)", with different, less explicit lyrics and an uncensored version which contained the full 8:58 minute song.

Famous quotes containing the words christian and/or woman:

In externals we advance with lightening express speed, in modes of thought and sympathy we lumber on in stage-coach fashion.
Frances E. Willard 1839–1898, U.S. president of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union 1879-1891, author, activist. The Woman’s Magazine, pp. 137-40 (January 1887)

    Say the woman is forty-four.
    Say she is five seven-and-a-half.
Say her hair is stick color.
    Say her eyes are chameleon.
Would you put her in a sack and bury her,
suck her down into the dumb dirt?
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)
