Chiron - Cultural Adaptations

Cultural Adaptations

Chiron appears in Dante Alighieri's Inferno. He leads the centaurs in Hell's Circle of Violence where they fire their arrows at any of the damned that try to escape from the Phlegethon.

John Updike's novel The Centaur is an expansion and interpretation of the story of Chiron, set in the context of 20th-century small-town America.

Chiron is a character in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series by Rick Riordan.
