Cheriton Fitzpaine

Cheriton Fitzpaine is a Red Devon village, a couple of miles off the main Crediton to Tiverton road. It has many fifteenth-century houses, including the longest thatched house in England (The Primary School). The Church of St Matthew (Church of England) is a Gothic style church. There is also a Methodist Church in the village. The Almshouses date from 1594.

The village also has two pubs, The Half Moon and The Ring of Bells; a Drama Group; a Football Club and a Cricket Club and recently have had a new school opened.
