The following new lines have been proposed in the Second Master Plan by CMDA as a long-term Urban transportation Scheme
- Avadi — Sriperumbudur — Kanchipuram
- Saidapet — Sriperumbudur — Kanchipuram (Partly Elevated)
- Sriperumbudur — Oragadam — Chengalpattu
- Kelambakkam — Vandalur
- St.Thomas Mount — Porur
