Military Service

Charles Osgood was in the U.S. Army from 1955–1959, and served as a member of The United States Army Band (Pershing's Own) in Washington, D.C. His duties included performing with The United States Army Chorus and as master of ceremonies for the U.S. Army Concert Band. He is also an accomplished pianist.
