Admissions Requirements

Chamberlain looks for candidates that have a minimum composite ACT score of 21, a minimum SAT critical reading and mathematics reasoning (CR-M) score of 990, or minimum A2 Admission Assessment score of 75. They look for students with a high school cumulative GPA of 2.75 from all previously attended institutions or successful completion of the General Education Development Examination (GED).

For RN to BSN students, a CGPA of 2.0 is accepted for the diploma or associate degree. Candidates must have an unencumbered nursing license (RNs and LPNs), a minimum grade of C in all nursing courses from any previous nursing education, and demonstrate mastery of English. For the MSN program, Chamberlain looks for candidates who have earned a bachelor degree of science in nursing (BSN), a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the BSN degree, completion of an undergraduate statistics course with a grade of C or better, and are an unrestricted U.S. RN.
