First Responders in The United Kingdom
In the United Kingdom, most statutory NHS ambulance services deploy paid first responders who drive dedicated "Rapid Response Vehicles" (RRVs). These are typically estate cars, MPVs or 4x4s, are liveried with high-visibility ambulance markings, and fitted with blue flashing lights and sirens. These vehicles are generally single-crewed, by a Paramedic. This differs from most ambulances in the UK, which usually have two crew members.

Famous quotes containing the words united and/or kingdom:
“Some of the offers that have come to me would never have come if I had not been President. That means these people are trying to hire not Calvin Coolidge, but a former President of the United States. I cant make that kind of use of the office.... I cant do anything that might take away from the Presidency any of its dignity, or any of the faith people have in it.”
—Calvin Coolidge (18721933)
“This is the Key of the Kingdom:
In that Kingdom is a city;”
