Central College's athletic teams include:

• Football (one of two DIII schools, other being St. John's University(MN), that has been in top 25 in wins each of the last 3 decades)
• Golf (Men's and Women's)
• Soccer (Men's and Women's)
• Softball
• Tennis (Men's and Women's)
• Track and field (Men's and Women's)
• Volleyball
• Wrestling
• Central College also offers Cheerleading and the Central College Dance Team who won two first place titles at the 2008 ISDTA Competition at Veterans Memorial in Des Moines.

The athletics facility is housed within the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex.
