C.D. Chivas USA - Colors and Badge

Colors and Badge

Chivas USA's home uniform mirrors that of their parent club, Guadalajara, with a red-and-white striped shirt, blue shorts and blue socks. Chivas USA have worn a variation of this kit since their inception (with slight variations in trim, stripe width, number of stripes, and other minor details), and usually complement this with a dark blue away uniform.

The club badge is also virtually identical to that of Guadalajara, featuring the shield of the city of Guadalajara, but omitting the eleven stars (representing the eleven league titles won by Guadalajara) around the outside of the logo.

Famous quotes containing the words colors and/or badge:

Painting myself for others, I have painted my inward self with colors clearer than my original ones. I have no more made my book than my book has made me—a book consubstantial with its author, concerned with my own self, an integral part of my life; not concerned with some third-hand, extraneous purpose, like all other books.
    Michel de Montaigne (1533–1592)

Just across the Green from the post office is the county jail, seldom occupied except by some backwoodsman who has been intemperate; the courthouse is under the same roof. The dog warden usually basks in the sunlight near the harness store or the post office, his golden badge polished bright.
