College Prayer
Loving God, we at Catholic College Bendigo
believe that life is your gift to us,
and that every person is worthy of our greatest respect, care and support.
May the spirit of Catharine McAuley
challenge us to live the Good News,
the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Famous quotes containing the words college and/or prayer:
“Jerry: She’s one of those third-year girls that gripe my liver.
Milo: Third-year girls?
Jerry: Yeah, you know, American college kids. They come over here to take their third year and lap up a little culture. They give me a swift pain.
Milo: Why?
Jerry: They’re officious and dull. They’re always making profound observations they’ve overheard.”
—Alan Jay Lerner (1918–1986)
“Tom Hyde, the tinker, standing on the gallows, was asked if he had anything to say. “Tell the tailors,” said he, “to remember to make a knot in their thread before they take the first stitch.” His companion’s prayer is forgotten.”
—Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
