And snowy summits old in story;
The long light shakes across the lakes,
And the wild cataract leaps in glory.
Blow, bugle, blow, set the wild echoes flying,
Blow, bugle; answer, echoes, dying, dying, dying.”
—Alfred Tennyson (18091892)
“Now would I give a thousand furlongs of sea for an acre of barren ground, long heath, brown furze, anything.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)

—David Bailey (b. 1938)

That have the office opposite to Saint Peter,
And keeps the gate of hell!”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
