2012 Relaunch
In January 2012, Casablanca Records was relaunched as an electronic music imprint under Universal Republic, as a reflection to the original label. The label has signed Ladyhawke, Chase & Status, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Saint Etienne, The Young Professionals, Crystal Castles, Scissor Sisters and Kindness for the US, with albums coming out in spring and summer of 2012.
