Carolina Speed
The Charlotte Speed is a professional indoor football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The team is currently a member of the Professional Indoor Football League. The Carolina Speed began in the American Indoor Football Association where they played from 2007 till 2009. After sitting out the 2010 season, the Speed came back in 2011 and played in the Southern Indoor Football League. The SIFL folded after the 2011 season, and the Speed did not play in 2012. The Owner of the Speed is Eddie Littlefield. The Speed play their home games at Bojangles' Coliseum in Charlotte.
