Dr. Benjamin Marshall was a long running extra who was for several years, one of the show's longest running characters. Benjamin appeared in several notable scenes including the 1996 earthquake, Michael McKenna's (Paul Gittins) wake and Kirsty Knight's (Angela Dotchin) final scene.
