Academics

Caraga State University serves the Caraga Region through the delivery of accredited programs and diploma, associate, undergraduate and graduate courses. The university offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in addition to some technical and vocational courses.


Quality

Being the only State University in the whole of Caraga Region, Caraga State University strives and see to it that the education acquired by the students meet the standards of excellence and quality possible. The University has a very strong Faculty force where twenty-three percent (23%) holds appropriate Doctorate Degrees and the rest with Master's Degrees.

Relevance

The University, through its various programs, equip its students with the knowledge and skills that are significant and responsive to the demands of the industry especially in the Caraga Region.

Certification

The University is accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) as well as the Commission of Higher Education (CHED). The Caraga State University is now:

* Level II Accredited in Elementary and Secondary Education Programs, Agricultural Technology and Agri-Business Management, Animal Production Technology and Farm Mechanization * Candidate Status in Environmental Science, Biology and Geodetic Engineering Programs * A delivering institution of CHED-HEDP-FDP for MS Math * A Center of Development (COD) status for the BS Mathematics Program

Affordability

Compared to other schools in the whole region, Caraga State University offers quality higher education at low cost. Per BOT Resolution Number 02-13 Series of 2010, the tuition fees for every college for the incoming freshmen are as follows: College of Arts and Sciences (CAS): Php200.00 / unit College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT): Php250.00 / unit College of Science Education (CSE): Php200.00 / unit College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR): Php 200.00 / unit
