Television
Captain Carrot is mentioned in the "Funeral on Earth-C" segment of Robot Chicken DC Universe Special. Superman, Batman and Green Lantern attend his funeral, while Green Lantern can't hold his composure due to the odd inhabitants (Little Cheese, Pig-Iron, Yankee Poodle, Rubberduck, and Fastback) of this Earth.

Famous quotes containing the word television:
“It is not heroin or cocaine that makes one an addict, it is the need to escape from a harsh reality. There are more television addicts, more baseball and football addicts, more movie addicts, and certainly more alcohol addicts in this country than there are narcotics addicts.”
—Shirley Chisholm (b. 1924)
“All television ever did was shrink the demand for ordinary movies. The demand for extraordinary movies increased. If any one thing is wrong with the movie industry today, it is the unrelenting effort to astonish.”
—Clive James (b. 1939)
