Cape Epic - Time Trial

Time Trial

Some years, an individual time trial appears midway through raceweek, this is a two-man team time trial, where teams usually leave at timed intervals. Like the prologue, it’s an all out effort. The distance varies but typically is around 30 km, which is regarded by the main field, who are not contending for overall victory, as an ‘easy’ day.

Famous quotes containing the words time and/or trial:

At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be infinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

The trial by market everything must come to.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)
