Campuses

CIT has four main campuses and two learning centres throughout the ACT.

Reid campus. The Reid campus is located on Constitution Avenue in the suburb of Reid in the centre of Canberra. It is 900 metres (10 minutes walk) from the Canberra city centre which includes shops, cafes, supermarkets, a movie theatre and Canberra's main bus interchange. Reid campus facilities include: a student services hub, CIT Student Association office, book shop, coffee shop, canteen, cafe, restaurant, child care centre, learning centre (library), squash courts, retail produce shop, and a student-run hair dressing studio, beauty salon and travel agency. Paid parking is available all day directly opposite CIT. For those catching public transport some buses stop at CIT directly while others can be caught by walking into the Civic bus interchange.

Bruce campus. Bruce campus is located in the suburb of Bruce which is located in the suburb of Bruce in the north-western part of Canberra. It is approximately 4 km from the nearest town centre (Belconnen) which includes a Westfield shopping centre and a range of shops, cafes, supermarkets, a movie theatre a bus interchange. Bruce campus facilities include: a student services hub, CIT Student Association office, book shop, coffee shop, canteen, learning centre (library), student massage clinic and full service gym. Free parking is available all day at Bruce campus. For those catching public transport buses stop at CIT directly.

Southside campus. Called 'Southside campus' by CIT, this campus is actually located in Phillip, in south Canberra. It is 1.2 km from the nearest town centre (Woden) which includes a Westfield shopping centre and a range of shops, cafes, supermarkets, a movie theatre a bus interchange. Southside campus facilities include: a student services hub, CIT Student Association office, book shop, canteen, and student learning centre (library). Free parking is available all day at the Southside campus. For those catching public transport some buses stop at CIT directly while others can be caught by walking into the Civic bus interchange.

Fyshwick Trade Skills Centre. CIT's campus in Fyshwick is called the Fyshwick Trade Skills Centre as it is the base for the teaching of traditional trades including automotive, metals, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, airconditioning and earthmoving. It is located in the suburb of Fyshwick in south-east Canberra, approximately 2 km from the central area of Fyshwick that includes shops and cafes. Southside campus facilities include: a student services hub, CIT Student Association office, book shop, canteen, and student learning centre (library). Free parking is available all day at the Fyshwick campus and for those catching public transport some buses stop at the Fyshwick campus directly.
