The Camanachd Association Challenge Cup a.k.a. the Camanachd Cup or Scottish Cup (known for sponsorship reasons as the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup) is the premier prize in the sport of shinty. It is one of the five trophies considered to be part of the Grand Slam in the sport of shinty.
The present holders in 2012 are Kyles Athletic who won the cup 6-5 after a classic encounter with Inveraray. It was the Tighnabruaich team's first win since 1994.

Famous quotes containing the word cup:
“There is not enough exercise in this way of life. I try to make up by active gymnastics before I dress when I get up, by walking rapidly in the lower hall and the greenhouse after each meal for perhaps five to ten minutes, and a good hand rubbing before going to bed. I eat moderately; drink one cup of coffee at breakfast and one cup of tea at lunch and no other stimulant. My health is now, and usually, excellent.”
