The BYU Testing Center, the largest college testing center in the nation, is located in the Heber J. Grant Building at Brigham Young University. It serves the purpose of administering tests to students. Tests are often administered in the Testing Center instead of during class time. By doing this, instructors allow students to take as much time as they need for the test, do not waste class time on testing, and allow students to take tests at their convenience.

Famous quotes containing the words testing and/or center:
“Traditional scientific method has always been at the very best 20-20 hindsight. Its good for seeing where youve been. Its good for testing the truth of what you think you know, but it cant tell you where you ought to go.”
—Robert M. Pirsig (b. 1928)
“Louise Bryant: Im sorry if you dont believe in mutual independence and free love and respect.
Eugene ONeill: Dont give me a lot of parlor socialism that you learned in the village. If you were mine, I wouldnt share you with anybody or anything. It would be just you and me. Youd be at the center of it all. You know it would feel a lot more like love than being left alone with your work.”
—Warren Beatty (b. 1937)
