School Song
Author unknown (but pre-1932)
Let's strive to do our very best
What'er we can for our school
Let's endeavour with all our might
To climb the hill of Knowledge too
Endeavour is our school motto
We should always follow
But more important to uphold
The good name of our school
Let's sing its praises far and wide
To serve to strive and not to yield
Be it our joy and our pride
Bukit Panjang Primary School
(chorus)
Endeavour is our school motto
We should always follow
But more important to uphold
The good name of our school
Let's sing its praises far and wide
To serve to strive and not to yield
Be it our joy and our pride

Famous quotes containing the words school and/or song:
“The happiest two-job marriages I saw during my research were ones in which men and women shared the housework and parenting. What couples called good communication often meant that they were good at saying thanks to one another for small aspects of taking care of the family. Making it to the school play, helping a child read, cooking dinner in good spirit, remembering the grocery list,... these were silver and gold of the marital exchange.”
—Arlie Hochschild (20th century)
“On a cloud I saw a child,
And he laughing said to me,
Pipe a song about a Lamb;
So I piped with merry chear.
Piper pipe that song again
So I piped, he wept to hear.
Drop thy pipe thy happy pipe
Sing thy songs of happy chear;
So I sung the same again
While he wept with joy to hear.”
—William Blake (17571827)
