The Alpheon was introduced at the 2010 Busan International Motor Show and is essentially a rebadged Buick LaCrosse for the South Korean market. Alpheon is a standalone brand from GM Korea Company. It is assembled at the GM Korea plant in Bupyeong.
Alpheon launched in September 2010 in South Korea with the same 3.0 L High Feature V6 and six-speed automatic that the 2010 Buick LaCrosse launched with.
