Famous quotes containing the words brown, eyed and/or girls:
“The brown waves of fog toss up to me
Twisted faces from the bottom of the street,
And tear from a passer-by with muddy skirts
An aimless smile that hovers in the air
And vanishes along the level of the roofs.”
—T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
“And the child not caring to whom he climbs his prayer
Shall drown in a grief as deep as his made grave,
And mark the dark eyed wave, through the eyes of sleep,
Dragging him up the stairs to one who lies dead.”
—Dylan Thomas (19141953)
“Voice number one says,
I am the leaves. I am the martyred.
Come unto me with death for I am the siren.
I am forty young girls in green shells....”
