British Claims To The French Throne - The Jacobite Successors

The Jacobite Successors

The Jacobite succession has continued since 1807 but none of the eight subsequent holders of the claims has actively pursued them. They continue to be customarily known as "King (or Queen) of France" by the Jacobites.

  • Maria Beatrice, Princess of Sardinia and later by marriage Duchess of Modena (January 10, 1824 – September 15, 1840), his daughter.

  • Maria Theresia, Princess of Modena and later Queen consort of Bavaria (November 20, 1875 – February 3, 1919), his niece.
