Brian Patrick Wilson (born March 16, 1982) is an American professional baseball closing pitcher who currently is a free agent. Statistically, Wilson has become one of baseball's best closers, and is known for his repertoire that consists of a four-seam fastball, cutter, slider and a two-seam sinking fastball. More recently, Wilson has drawn media attention, as well as legions of fans, for his thick, black beard and subversive humor.
