Sacha Baron Cohen has stated that the character of Borat, alongside his Ali G character, will be retired. Borat's last appearances were at Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Event for Autism Education 2006 television special and an online public service announcement ahead of the 2008 United States elections.
