Side Projects
This does not count what former members have done since leaving Cacumen and Bonfire.
Joerg Deisinger had played on the 1989 album, entitled Wild Obsession, by Axel Rudi Pell.
Claus Lessmann was planned to be the lead singer of EZ Livin' while still maintaining membership in Bonfire in 1990. Problems arose and he stayed with Bonfire, but he recorded some demos, which appeared on Bonfire - The Early Days Part 4.
Michael Bormann, when he joined Bonfire in 1993, maintained his membership in Jaded Heart. When Charade was put together, he was still with Jaded Heart, but has been involved with other projects since then. The Sygnet was put together in 1997 and lasted until 2000. He has been releasing solo material since 2002 and created the band known as Rain in 1997, which apparently disbanded by 2008. He has also been in Biss (2002–2004), 20th Century Boys (2004), Zeno (2005–present), The Trophey (2006–present), Bloodbound (2007), Redrum (2004–present) and Idea (2003–present).
Angel Schleifer, since Charade came into existence, was part of Sabu until 1998. This band reunited in 2003, but nothing came of it, although he and Paul Sabu have been working together. He was also involved with Demon Drive until 2001 and has contributed to the Voices of Rock project by Chris Lausmann and Michael Voss.
Chris Lausmann's former band, Frontline, reunited in 2000. He stayed with them until 2002. He also had a project with Frontline vocalist Stephen Kaemmerer called Revolution, but nothing came of that. He is currently involved with Michael Voss in a project called Voices of Rock, which showcases various lead vocalists to sing individual songs written by the duo.
Uwe Köhler joined Affair in 1999 and the group released an album in 2002. News from the band's website states a new album is in the works with a new membership line-up. It is unknown if Köhler is still a member.
Jürgen Wiehler has been in the punk-rock band known as Lustfinger since 2002. He also was listed as a member of The Scovilles (2004–2008) and a member of the industrial metal band Megaherz since 2007.
Since rejoining the band, Dominik Hülshorst is involved with Faro, Seelenbrand, Volt and BrunoRock.

Famous quotes containing the words side and/or projects:
“One may confidently assert that when thirty thousand men fight a pitched battle against an equal number of troops, there are about twenty thousand on each side with the pox.”
—Voltaire [François Marie Arouet] (16941778)
“But look what we have built ... low-income projects that become worse centers of delinquency, vandalism and general social hopelessness than the slums they were supposed to replace.... Cultural centers that are unable to support a good bookstore. Civic centers that are avoided by everyone but bums.... Promenades that go from no place to nowhere and have no promenaders. Expressways that eviscerate great cities. This is not the rebuilding of cities. This is the sacking of cities.”
—Jane Jacobs (b. 1916)
