Bob Kiesel

Bob Kiesel (Robert Allan Kiesel; August 30, 1911 – August 6, 1993) was an American athlete, winner of gold medal in 4x100 m relay at the 1932 Summer Olympics.

As a University of California student, Kiesel won the IC4A championships in both 100 m and 200 m in 1934 and 220 yd (200 m) in 1932.

At the Los Angeles Olympics, Kiesel ran the opening leg in the American 4x100 m relay team, which won the gold medal with a new world record of 40.0.

Bob Kiesel died in Boise, Idaho, aged 81.
