Blood (video Game) - Fan Projects

Fan Projects

After the release of Blood's unsuccessful sequel Blood II: The Chosen, Monolith did not develop any further games in the series, in part due to copyright issues, since the "Blood" name was owned by GT Interactive. While the source code to the game was not released, in spite of the interest of fans, several ports have still been developed around the Blood story.

Famous quotes containing the words fan and/or projects:

Hard times accounted in large part for the fact that the exposition was a financial disappointment in its first year, but Sally Rand and her fan dancers accomplished what applied science had failed to do, and the exposition closed in 1934 with a net profit, which was donated to participating cultural institutions, excluding Sally Rand.
—For the State of Illinois, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)

But look what we have built ... low-income projects that become worse centers of delinquency, vandalism and general social hopelessness than the slums they were supposed to replace.... Cultural centers that are unable to support a good bookstore. Civic centers that are avoided by everyone but bums.... Promenades that go from no place to nowhere and have no promenaders. Expressways that eviscerate great cities. This is not the rebuilding of cities. This is the sacking of cities.
    Jane Jacobs (b. 1916)
