Periodic Table

Helium is placed next to hydrogen instead of on top of neon because it is part of the s2 group. In addition to the blocks listed in this table, there is a hypothetical g-block which is not pictured here. g-block elements can be seen in the expanded extended periodic table. Also, lutetium and lawrencium are placed under scandium and yttrium to reflect their status as d-block elements.
