"Black Cat" is the sixth single from American recording artist Janet Jackson's fourth studio album, Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 (1989). The song was written by Jackson herself. This is one of the three Jackson songs penned by herself, including, "Whoops Now" (1993) and "Ask for More" (1998).
