The BKW FMB Energie AG (BKW, formerly known as Bernische Kraftwerke AG, SWX:BKWN) is a power production and distribution utility with headquarter in Berne, Switzerland. Through some subsidiaries or partner companies it also provides gas and heat. It operates mainly in the canton of Berne, but is present also in Italy, Germany and Austria.
