International Career
Meredith made 48 appearances for the Wales national football team during his career, scoring 11 goals in the process. He was chosen by the selectors for 71 consecutive matches, but only made 48 appearances as on many occasions his club refused to release him for international duty. Meredith is the oldest player to represent Wales at 45 years and 229 days.
