Early Years
Cundiff attended Harlan Community High School in Harlan, Iowa where he was a three-time All-Iowa quarterback who helped lead the Cyclones to the Class 3A state championship in 1998. He also established state career kicking records for most points (179) and field goals (22), both of which have since been surpassed. He was also a starting point guard in basketball.
