He was born on the 6th of August 1934 in Tiger Bay, Cardiff and played rugby union for the CIAC's RFC, Pontypridd RFC and Neath RFC. Billy Boston is one of less than twenty-five Welshmen to have scored more than 1000-points in their rugby league career.
